General Features

Caranfilgiller family is a two-year-old durable herbaceous plant. During the summer it is grown quite widely as an ornamental plant with colorful flowers. The flowers may be simple or layered. Half-shade places are suitable for sunny or hot areas. It does not want much water, nor does it tolerate extreme water. It is produced by plant seeds. The seeds are harvested in the spring and when the soil is warmed, they are planted directly in the gardens, where they bloom in the second year. For early blossoming seeds should be planted in hot springs in closed areas (6-8 weeks before last frost). The growing plant blooms in the summer. It is suitable for flower pot breeding.
